California Proposition 65 Information

The State of California has enacted Proposition 65 which entitles California consumers to have warnings for specific products if they expose CA consumers to certain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm if it is above certain threshold levels.

PROP 65 WARNING - GAS GRILLS & HEATERS:

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm
Fuels used in liquefied propane gas appliances, and the products of combustion of such fuels, can expose you to chemicals including benzene, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. PROP 65 WARNING - CHARCOAL GRILLS:

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm
Fuels used in wood or charcoal burning appliances, and the products of combustion of such fuels, can expose you to chemicals including carbon black, which is known to the state of california to cause cancer, and carbon monoxide, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. PROP 65 WARNING - GRILL COVERS:

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm
This product can expose you to chemicals including di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (dehp), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harms. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

PROP 65 WARNING - PELLET STOVES:

WARNING: Cancer and Reproductive Harm
This product can expose you to chemicals including carbon monoxide which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. WARNING: Inhalation of wood dust is known to the State of California to cause cancer. Carbon monoxide, which is a by-product of combustion of this product, is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
